Taryn Nilsen
In 2021, at just 35 years old, Taryn was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She underwent a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple reconstructive surgeries—facing both the physical and emotional challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. Along the way, she experienced firsthand the limitations of conventional care, especially the lack of guidance around lifestyle shifts, nutrition, movement, and complementary therapies to support healing and long-term well-being.
Motivated by her own journey and the gaps she encountered in care, Taryn pursued training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Her mission was clear: to offer others the kind of holistic support she had longed for during treatment. Today, through Summit Integrative Health Coaching, she helps clients cut through the noise of conflicting health information and reclaim their sense of agency—empowering them to prioritize their multidimensional wellness with clarity, compassion, and purpose.
Now, Taryn welcomes the opportunity to walk alongside women who are ready to take back control of their lives after feeling swept away by a diagnosis, treatment, or everything in between.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
